Thunderstorm season: lightning and ramp closures
Storm season has begun. When lightning is within eight kilometres the ramp closes, refuelling stops and all staff move indoors. Team leaders will announce closures and reopenings on the radio and record them in the handover. Flights delayed by ramp closures are a safety decision and will be supported by management.
