Our departments

Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.

Flight Operations

Plans, dispatches and flies every scheduled and charter sector safely and on time, manages crew rostering within fatigue limits, maintains the operations manual and standard operating procedures, and makes sure every pilot holds the qualifications, checks and recency the air operator's certificate requires.

Ground Operations

Runs the ramp, baggage and freight operations at every port: marshalling and turnaround of aircraft, loading and securing baggage and freight, dangerous goods acceptance, ground support equipment operation and inspection, airside driving and the airside security controls that protect aircraft and people.

Flight Training Academy

Trains commercial pilots, instrument rating candidates and flight instructors under the academy's training approval, using a documented syllabus, lesson plans, pre-flight briefings, flight and simulator sessions and debriefs, while managing the specific risks of training flights at a shared regional aerodrome.

Passenger Services

Looks after passengers from booking to boarding: reservations, check-in, baggage acceptance, passengers needing assistance, queue management, disruption communication, boarding and the check-in security and dangerous goods questions that protect every flight, at all four ports.

Safety and Compliance

Owns the safety management system, the hazard register, occurrence reporting and investigation, fatigue and drug and alcohol programs, the transport security program, internal audits and regulator liaison, and coaches managers so that safety risk is managed at the source rather than only reviewed afterwards.
